Limit your Zoom meeting to EWU Students, Faculty, and Staff

Creating and Attending EWU Only Zoom meetings

Summary

EWU Zoom users now have the option to limit meeting attendees to only other EWU attendees. This option can protect your meeting's privacy and prevent Zoombombing from the general public. It is still a good idea to review the Zoom Security best practices when scheduling your meeting.

To limit your meeting to only EWU Zoom accounts:

When scheduling a meeting, scroll down in the meeting settings until you reach Meeting Security.

From there, change the setting to Only authenticated users can join, and then change the setting below it to EWU Students, Faculty, and Staff

Once you have made these changes, only EWU authenticated Zoom accounts will be able to join your meeting.
