Installing GlobalProtect VPN on Windows
DOWNLOAD CLIENT
- Visit https://vpn.ewu.edu
- If not already signed-in, you will be redirected to EWU's Single Sign-On (SSO)
- After sign-in, download the client appropriate for you computer (Most computers: Windows 64 bit GlobalProtect agent)
INSTALLING CLIENT
- Click on the Downloaded file to start the installation
- Click Next to continue the installation
- Click Next again to accept the default installation location, and Next to proceed with the installation
- GlobalProtect should now be installed and ready to use
CONNECTING TO VPN
- After installing the agent, GlobalProtect should automatically prompt you to connect
- During your first connection, type "vpn.ewu.edu" into the portal address field
- Click Connect
- To connect or disconnect VPN, use the GlobalProtect Globe icon in your system tray (lower right panel)

IMPORTANT: only use the tray icon to connect/disconnect (not the Start Menu application)
