Are EWU's Microsoft Office 365 and Outlook Services FERPA and HIPAA Compliant?

Office 365 and our Microsoft Outlook email services are covered by FERPA compliant terms and conditions that are different than their commercial agreements. Microsoft agrees to be designated as a 'school official' with 'legitimate educational interests' in customer data as defined under FERPA.

Office 365 is also HIPAA compliant.
