I need to take the CPLA tests for my degree, where can I get some information on this?
To fulfill EWU’s Computer Literacy Basic Skills and Computer Literacy Competency, students must pass two Computer Literacy exams with an 80% or higher score. The Computer Science Department offers several options to facilitate students’ success in fulfilling Computer Literacy. Below is a list of options that a student may choose:
- Take and pass the exams with a 80% or higher score.
- * Take CPLA 100/101 and pass both exams with an 80% or higher score.
- * Take CPLA 120 and pass both exams with an 80% or higher score.
Students may take the exams any number of times to complete the Computer Literacy requirement, but can only try a maximum of twice each quarter. If a student somehow takes an exam more than twice in a quarter, the subsequent exam score(s) will not be used.
