To sync your EWU email account to your Kindle (FireOS) device, follow these steps:

  1. From your Apps screen, click Email.
  2. Now type in your Full Email Address into the Email Address line and click next.
  3. Next type in your NetID Password to the Password line
  4. Next select IMAP.
  5. Enter the following: 
    • IMAP server: outlook.office365.com
    • Username: Full Email Address
    • Password:  Your SSO Password
    • Server Folder Path: Leave this section blank
    • SMTP Server: smtp.office365.com
    • Note: Make sure the box that says Use the same username and password for Incoming and Outgoing servers is checked
  6. Tap on Security Settings and Ports
  7. Verify that the following information is true
  8. Incoming Security Settings 
    • The Use secure connection (SSL) box is checked
    • The Accept all SSL certificates box is unchecked
    • The Port is 993
  9. Outgoing Security Settings: 
    • The Use secure connection (SSL) box is checked
    • The Accept all SSL certificates box is unchecked
    • The Require sign-in box is checked
    • The Port is 587
  10. Click OK when it asks for Remote security administration.
  11. Click Go to Inbox and you will be able to see your email.
