How many hours can Work Study student employees work?
You can calculate the number of hours a Work Study student employee can work per term by taking the award and dividing it by the number of weeks in the term and then by the student’s salary range. This will help you schedule the student’s hours appropriately. If students exceed their work study award, the difference will be charged to the department budget. You can keep track of your student's hours worked per term, through their timesheet on EagleNET or by using the Work Study Tracker found on the Student Employment website. If you have inquiries about remaining work-study balances, please reach out to Student Employment for assistance.
