Settings - Restore a Deleted Item

1. If you delete an item from your course in error, usually you can quickly restore it by using the "undelete" command in Canvas. Keep in mind, this is not 100% - not ALL deleted items may show. In the address bar, remove whatever path is listed after the course ID number and type /undelete. For example, canvas.ewu.edu/course/######/undelete, where ###### is your course ID number, as pictured below.

2. This will bring up a list of any items that have been deleted from this course, along with the date they were created and the date they were last updated. Locate the item you wish to bring back and select restore.

3. You will receive a verification message - select OK to process your request. The item will be restored to your course.
