First and foremost: Make sure you have submitted a Help Desk ticket to have a Jabber account created. If you don't have an account, you will not be able to log in.
You can request for one here:
1.) Locate the spotlight search icon in the upper right hand side of your screen and click on it.
2.) Type in "EWU Self Service" and Click on the "EWU Self Service" application.
3.) If it prompts you to sign in, sign in with your SSO credentials. Same as you would when logging into the computer. Once you are logged in Click on the search bar on the upper left hand side of the EWU self service window and type in "Jabber".
NOTE* If the Jabber application isn't populating please reach out to your IT coordinator or the EWU IT help desk for assistance.
4.) Click on "Install" another window will pop up, click on "Install" again. Do make sure your Jabber profiles has been created before installing the application, otherwise it will not work.
5.) When the install is complete click "Done!". Then click back on your spotlight search from step one and type in "Jabber". Click on the Jabber application to launch it.
6.) At the first prompt, type in your whole email address and click "Continue".
7.) At the second window type in your standard SSO username and PW then click "Sign In".
8.) When prompted with a Certificate warning, click "Continue" OR "Accept".
