I can't upload a photo or attach a document in Canvas

If you are unable to load a photo or attach a file to a discussion or conversation in Canvas, it is likely a function of being out of personal storage space.

Because Canvas is not a file sharing service, your personal storage in Canvas is limited to only 50 MB. You can free up space by going into your Files page within your Profile and deleting documents. Often the folder titled 'conversation attachments' is filled with files that you can delete. If you need to save anything you can download the files first to your personal computer.

A good way to share files with others is to use your EWU Cloud Storage (either Google Drive or OneDrive). More information about how to share files through Google Drive can be found here:https://support.ewu.edu/support/solutions/articles/10000048190
