In order to reset your Student Email Password, you will need to also know your SSO password (your NetID password).  If you do not know your SSO/NetID password, follow the steps below:

- Go to https://account.ewu.edu


- Select Forgot Password


- Enter your NetID (if you do not know your NetID, please contact the Help Desk at 509-359-2247 and we can provide the NetID after verifying your identity)


- Answer any verification questions that are presented, or follow the SMS validation steps.


- Set the password.



In order to reset your Student Email Password and you know your NetID password, do the following:

Go to https://account.ewu.edu


- Select Student Email Forgotten Password


- Enter the NetID password


- Click the Reset Password button, this will set a temporary password.


- Wait a few seconds for the page to be presented again

Make note of the First Login Password and click the link presented:  https://outlook.com/owa/eagles.ewu.edu )

- Follow the prompts to set a personal password once logged in using the temporary password
