TO ORDER SOFTWARE
This software pricing is available only to the staff and faculty of Eastern Washington University and we do not make it available for students (of this or any university) or for home purchase by faculty. This software is only available for EWU tagged equipment- personal equipment is not allowed.
Please correctly fill out an IDPO (Interdepartmental Purchase Order) and make it payable to Computer Support (200327-71400), 002MAR. On the IDPO, describe the software that you intend to purchase, the platform that it is for (Macintosh, Windows) and the price. Please do not forget to include 8.6% sales tax on your order. Mail the IDPO to Bill in Computer Support (Martin 002) and then call Bill at 6111 to find out what the schedule is for your software installation. General installation times range from 2 days to 2 weeks (depending on demand and availability of software). If you have any questions, please call Bill at 6111.
The licenses that we have are backwards-compatible. For example, if you wish to purchase Office 2000 Professional, the licensing for Office 2007 Pro Plus is good for Office 2003 Pro, Office XP Pro, Office 2000 Pro, Office 97 Pro and Office 95 Pro. *** NOTE *** Microsoft software purchased through Computer Support is licensed to an individual and not a computer so please note on the IDPO for whom the software is being purchased. An important point to note is that when an employee leaves the department that purchased the software, please call Bill in Computer Support (359-6111) so that we may transfer the license to someone else within the department.
The pricing has been listed below. Prices and versions are subject to change without notice. Spokane County Washington State Sales Tax (8.6%) also needs to be added to the prices listed. This is a complete list of software available through Computer Support- if you do not see a product listed (or it's not available [NA]) then it is not available for purchase at an academic price from Computer Support.
